Cupcake Day at Two Scrapbook Friends!

I was doing some recipe testing last night and I made quite a few cupcakes.  I was perfecting my chocolate cupcakes as well as trying out a new pumpkin cupcake.  The test was successful, but I ended up with a lot of cupcakes.

My mom suggested that they have a 'cupcake day' at the store and let the customers test the cupcakes too.  I decorated them up with some Halloween treats and not to many came back home.

I am working on some samples for pre-order for Thanksgiving and for Halloween.  I should have the information available on my blog soon.

Thanks for visiting!

Tie-Dye Cupcakes!

My baking business is growing!  October is going to be a very busy month! I have several big orders coming up.   I have been busy testing recipes and my brothers and friends have been the tasters.  I have developed a really fun looking cupcake for birthday parties and my brothers say that this is the best one yet.

The batter is created in many different colours......

Scooped into the baking cups.......

Baked to perfection.......

Isn't that amazing.......

Each one has its own unique look.

I add some buttercream icing and a few sprinkles.......and you have the perfect tie-dye cupcake.

I am making a cupcake tree for a birthday party this Saturday. I will be sure to get photos and post them.

Deanna's Baby Shower

This past Sunday my mom and I went to a surprise baby shower for Deanna (a friend from work). I thought since we were going to a baby shower I would make up really cute cupcakes to bring along in my cupcake tree. This is what I created!

I did a combination of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with light pink icing.

Congratulations to Deanna! I can't wait to meet your little girl:)

Two Scrapbook Friends 8th Anniversary Celebration Cupcakes

Well I have just recently made cupcakes for Two Scrapbook Friends for their 8th anniversary and had a blast doing so. I had to make a total of 110 cupcakes for the function that they had and this is what I created!

I tried out a new cupcake recipe and it worked great! The cupcakes were PERFECT!!:)

I had to make icing in lots of different colours to match the decorations and the theme!

I created cupcake picks that I put in the top of each cupcake.  The icing matched each pick and I embellished it with ribbon too!

I put each cupcake in an individual bag and added curly ribbon to finish it up!

This was my first big order.  It was a lot of work, but I loved it!

I Want To Be A Sugar Artist

Hello!

My name is Amanda Wolff and I am 18 years old. I am currently finishing up highschool and then I am wanting to go to school to become a pastry chef (sugar artist). I have always loved to bake things like cupcakes and cakes, but in the past year my passion for it has changed dramatically. This past summer I took two courses to learn how to decorate cakes and cupcakes properly. I am currently making cupcakes for events that Two Scrapbook Friends is running and for some family events. I will be posting images of any of the creations that I make! Hope you enjoy!

This is a cupcake tree that I made for a crop at Two Scrapbook Friends!  The flowers are made of fondant!

These are special cupcakes I made for my Grandma and Grandpa's 45th wedding anniversary!  The flowers are made of gum paste.

My New Baking Blog!

Hey guys!

I have been learning to decorate cakes while taking classes at Michael's. I thought it would be really cool if I started a blog on all the cool things that I decorate! I am going to change the header and stuff once I get started, but for now it's just plain and simple!:)

I will post as soon as I can!
